Please include a brief description of what you were trying to do, your header names, how many rows you selected, and (if possible) a screenshot of the selection and any message shown in the sheet.

Common issues

Add-on not visible in Extensions: Refresh the Sheet after install. If your organization restricts Marketplace apps, your admin may need to allow or install the add-on for your domain/OU.
First-run authorization prompts: Approve the two scopes shown. If you want to re-test the consent flow, revoke access in your Google Account settings and run again.
No data generated: Make sure your selection includes a header row and empty rows below it. SmartFill only sends the header names, the requested row count, and an optional sort instruction to the AI service.

Data Use & Logging

To generate data, SmartFill sends the selected header names, the number of rows requested, and any detected sort instruction to the Gemini™ AI service. No other spreadsheet content is sent. Results are written directly back into your sheet.

Security

All requests to the AI service are made over HTTPS/TLS.
We use the narrowest permissions required to read your headers and write the generated rows.
